Procon 2 - Monitor 2 Engines with One Procon

    

The New Standard in Protocol Conversion.

 

PROCON Protocol converter converts either J1587/J1708 or J1939 protocol to Modbus RTU, DF1, ASCII, or for use by a PLC (Programmable Logic Controller). Call us if customized output or other protocols are needed to fit your specific requirements.

 
    

Features of the PROCON 2:

Supports two engines operating from one Procon box. The engines must have different source addresses (J1939) or different MID's (J1587/J1708). Information for each engine can then be obtained by using that engine's slave address.

Each data line is protected against ESD as well as large DC voltages.

Communications options now include 9.6 or 19.2 kbaud and 1 or 2 stop bits.

During Modbus messages, engine bus messages will still be accepted. This prevents some engines from timing out if the Modbus poll rate is high.

Two additional diagnostic LED's are provided to show whether Modbus requests are received and whether a reply is sent.

Operates on:

~ 12 to 24 VDC, reverse polarity protected,
low power consumption (750 mW)

~ Outputs RS485 or RS232

No end user configuration necessary.
